The hotel was set in a very central area short walk to Valletta in March 2017, an excellent restaurant and wine bar with views over the Grand Harbour-a vast improvement on the previous restaurant, and what should have been a 17 Euro ride to the airport. Furthermore, in between EVERYTHING.

The hotel is walking distance to major sites in Valetta, the capital of Malta. Great view of the Grand harbour from the restaurant and if you book far enough ahead you can get the same view from your room.
Breakfast starts late (7:30) and the chef, who can prepare an English or American Breakfast, arrives around 8. We do not recommend this restaurant for dinner, as there are excellent choices walking distance away.

Apart from pleasant staff it is impossible to say anything positive about this awful hotel
I am in the process of drafting a fully detailed complaint to you and relevant consumer protection groups. The hotel is nothing like what you portray and was of the most basic level I have ever encountered anywhere in the world (we are seasoned travelers and used to booking online!) I will be pursuing a refund.

Brand-new unit for an extra 10eur, we really enjoyed it. Had perfect location down the hill, an easy walk to Agenda.
All was good.

Location was great: nice view of the waterfront and near the centre of Valletta.
For the price I paid, this hotel was very disappointing: dreadful breakfast, no shampoo in the rooms, general tattiness everywhere. The night porter was rude, though it's not the best job in the world. Place desperately needs refit, looks like it's had no work on it since the 50s. My stay wasn't helped by having only a pokey room on the top floor as the others were booked up. The other rooms may be better but there are cheaper and much better hotels elsewhere, esp. in Sliema, where i went next.

We stayed here for 3 nights, the hotel was fabulous, had amazing location in a restaurant overlooking the beautiful Grand Harbour. Enjoyed how the spacious and huge room with a view was arranged when we arrived. Location: the property was short walk to the center, bus station, the Malta of the sixties and VALETTA 'S SIGHTS.

The Staff were very friendly. The room was cleaned daily. The menu was very good showers hot. The rooms with a sea view are worth the small extra charge spectacular.
The Hotel is everthing you need and I suspect in its hey day it was the best. With some refurbishment it could be brought into the top of the range again. That said would I still go there again yes
